Sea-web™ - Movements

Sea-web's Movements Database is an additional module available to enhance your Sea-web application and contains details of millions of recorded ship movements recorded by the AISLive network of receivers.

The Movements module allows users to view a ships current position, or last reported position where known, as well as allowing users to view the fleet position of a particular owner, manager or operator as well as historic movements and port callings.

Movements Coverage

The database contains recorded ship movements, and for each movement record the port of call, country, arrival date and sailing date are given. The information in the Movements Database is obtained primarily from AIS data and is supplemented by a number of other sources.

The Movements Search screen provides a facility for searching on single or multiple fields. The facility includes options to search by ship name, country/port of call and dates, as well as having more complex search capabilities for shiptype, flag, ownership and tonnages.
